Mark Bittman, This One's For You
I love Mark Bittman. I think his demonstrative videos are hilariously produced. And he has a great attitude about food: it’s no-nonsense love affair with a splash of levity. Anyways, I was drooling over his most recent recipe (ginger fried rice with egg), so I gave it a whirl this morning.

Problems:
- No white rice (had to use a mealier, brown alternative)
- Practically cut my finger off while mincing ginger. Currently maimed and having a hard time typing
- Broke the yolk :(
Upsides:
- YUM. That fried ginger and garlic takes adds a new dimension to an otherwise ordinary dish.
- Added salmon furikake. If you’ve never had this, try it. Seaweed is the new salt.
